Grandview Yard is a sprawling 125-acre urban neighborhood, setting the standard for sustainable and environmentally conscious urban development. Recognized as the largest LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Neighborhood Development site in the nation, it offers a diverse array of commercial businesses, dining establishments, hotels, grocery stores, and luxury urban living spaces.
We began working at this site in 2020 and our services have grown to include all commercial landscaping maintenance, irrigation, flowers, and snow removal. Our dedicated team is committed to enhancing the beauty and sustainability of Grandview Yard. We focus on creating and maintaining stunning green spaces that integrate sustainable environmental design principles.
Award-Winning Commercial Maintenance
At Grandview Yard, EMI’s seasonal floral displays bring year-round color through creative plant selection, succession planting, and custom planters tailored to each business. Nearly 23 acres of turf are actively maintained, with repairs and seasonal treatments to combat wear and tear. The site’s 3,000 trees and countless shrubs are pruned and mulched annually, requiring multiple rounds of care. We also maintain patios, common areas, and parking garages—enhancing green space within the urban footprint.
With over 800 irrigation zones and 20,000 heads, our full-time irrigation tech ensures efficiency across this massive network. During snow events, our zero-tolerance approach deploys a 50-person team and 25+ machines to clear over 1.4 million square feet, using special deicers and eco-friendly brine to protect surfaces and support sustainability.
EMI's maintenance work at Grandview Yard was recognized as award-winning in 2024 by both the Ohio Green Industry Association (OGIA) and the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP).
